I am excited to participate in the 39th Annual The Ben to the Shore on Sunday, July 26, 2026, which supports the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation!  

The Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation (FBBCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to improving the lives of children in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey area. They achieve this by providing necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders (police officers, firefighters, EMTs); cultivating positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve; and providing mental and emotional wellbeing resources to first responders and their families.

On October 9, 2025, our world changed forever when my husband, Jonathan, passed away after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. He left behind a legacy of love, strength, and our two incredible sons Tucker and Dawson, now ages 3 and 4 (almost 5!).

During the hardest days following his passing, the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation stepped in. Through an immediacy grant, they provided our family with more than just financial relief—they provided a sense of peace and community when we needed it most.

On July 26, 2026, I am riding 65 miles from Philadelphia to Atlantic City in the Ben to the Shore Bike Tour. I’m riding to honor Jonathan’s memory and to ensure that other families of fallen or injured first responders receive the same vital support we did.

Our family knows firsthand the impact of this foundation's kindness. By donating to my ride, you are helping provide financial relief, mental health resources, and a lifeline to those who serve our communities every day.
