As a U.S. Army veteran, I understand what it truly means to answer a calling that is bigger than yourself. To serve with purpose, to give without hesitation, and to stand for something greater than personal gain. That same spirit is what drives this ride.

I am riding in honor of Officer Jaime Roman, whose life was taken far too soon while doing what he loved, protecting his city and serving his community. His courage, sacrifice, and commitment to others will never be forgotten.

With every mile from Philly to AC, I carry Jaime’s name, his legacy, and the love of those he left behind; Jazmin, Jaime Jr., and all the families whose lives were forever changed. This ride is not just about endurance; it is about remembrance, unity, and honoring those who gave everything in the line of duty.

I ride in service. I ride in honor. I ride in love; for my brothers and sisters in service, and for the families who continue to carry their strength forward every single day.

I am excited to participate in the 39th Annual The Ben to the Shore on Sunday, July 26, 2026, which supports the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation!  

The Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation (FBBCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to improving the lives of children in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey area. We achieve this by providing necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders (police officers, firefighters, EMTs); cultivating positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve; and providing mental and emotional wellbeing resources to first responders and their families.
